400 mg sulfamethoxazol, 80 mg trimethoprim
The daily dose to be administered is 33 mg of active ingredient per 1 kg of body weight; There should be 1 ml Sulfamega Oral Suspension per 3.64 kg body weight. Treatment should be continued for 3-4 days
It is used for the treatment of infections caused by the above listed sensitive bacteria in lamb & calf and turkey & broilers.
In broilers and turkey; colisepticemia, salpingitis, cholera, coryza and staphylococcus infections and other infections caused by the other sensitive bacteria.
Lamb and calves (non-ruminating); bacterial diarrhoea, gastroenteritis, colisepticemia, bronchopneumonia, calf diphtheria and omphalitis.
Meat and offal: 10 days (chicken, turkey) Should not given to poultry producing eggs for human consumption
